Outdoor Ice Rink & Cross-Country Ski Trails

Private on sight skating rink and groomed cross country ski trails in the wild of Banff National Park. Perfect for all levels, complimentary skate and snowshoe rentals available. Enjoy winter's beauty in the great outdoors. May be closed at any time due to weather conditions.

Gym & Steam Room

Get sweaty or steamy (or both!) in our gym and steam room at Baker Creek. Our sauna is currently under repair and is unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Creekside Fire Pits

Live it up by the fire with our creek-side fire pits. Multiple pits, blankets provided, and s'more packages available for the perfect evening under the stars.

Photo Booth

Step into our cozy lake-shack setup near the elevators to take photos and GIFs with your friends. Scan the QR code to download. Open daily.

Outdoor Hot Tub

Soak in mountain views from our outdoor hot tub, open daily from 9 AM to 10 PM. Towels and change rooms are available nearby for added convenience.

Available year-round from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Grill tools are provided in your unit. BBQs operate on a first-come, first-served basis—perfect for post-adventure meals outdoors.

Camp Supplies & Rentals

Need gear? We’ve got you! Rent bedding, cooking kits, coolers, propane firepits, and more from the Trading Post. Rentals are per night—call ahead to reserve. All guests staying in Sundance's tents or tipis can borrow a hand held lamp for their stay.

Patios

All units (except micro-studios) include outdoor seating. One- and two-bedroom patios are located along the main walkway, while larger units feature semi-private upstairs patios with summer landscaping. Patio furniture is only available seasonally.

A cozy shared space open 24/7—perfect for reading, working, or relaxing by the fireplace. Enjoy complimentary coffee anytime—ideal for early mornings, mid-day breaks, or evening wind-downs.

Ski Resort Shuttle

Ready to carve up some powder at Mt. Norquay, Sunshine Village, or Lake Louise? We've got your ride sorted! The Ski Shuttle bus stop is just a 3-minute walk from our property. These shuttles are your ticket to a day filled with ski thrills and mountain chills.

Facilities

We keep it simple, clean, and comfortable. Hot showers and flushing toilets are located at the rear of the Trading Post. Separate men’s and women’s showers and toilets. Closed daily for cleaning from 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM and 9:30 PM – 10:00 PM.

Food Packages

Indulge in our S’more & hot chocolate food packages. Add the food packages to your booking to have them waiting for you in your room upon arrival!

Activities On-site

Play hard or chill out—your choice. Enjoy complimentary access to volleyball, soccer, badminton, Jenga, bocce ball, and cornhole. A large open field offers space for group games, picnics, or letting the kids run free. You’ll also find scenic riverside trails nearby and fishing (with permits) just steps from your site.

Take a break with mountain and river views from our outdoor hot tub—open daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM (closed Sunday mornings for cleaning). Towels are provided in-room, so just bring them along. Please note: there are no change rooms on-site.

Rooftop Hot Tubs

Soak in the views from our rooftop hot tub, open daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Change rooms and towel bin available. Closed Sunday mornings for cleaning and during extreme cold (-20°C or below).

Dry Sauna

Unwind after your adventures in our guest sauna, open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Towels and change rooms are conveniently located just across from the door. Closed Sunday mornings for cleaning.

Grab a fresh cup of coffee between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM (additional cost), browse basic groceries like milk, eggs, cheese, and Valbella meats, or stock up on snacks, s’mores kits, and frozen bread. Firewood is also available for purchase.

Riverside Hot Tubs

Take in mountain and river views from the rooftop while you soak. We have two hot tubs open daily from 9 AM to 10 PM (closed Tuesday mornings for cleaning and during extreme cold snaps of -20°C or below). A change room with a shower and towel bin is available.
